Due to slick road conditions and inclement winter weather, Argyle ISD schools will be CLOSED Monday, Jan. 30. Elementary campuses are being dismissed and parents can pick up students. Elementary buses will begin returning students home at 9 a.m.
ALL Argyle High School Athletics and after-school activities scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30 have been CANCELED due to inclement weather and road conditions. Boys & Girls basketball games will be rescheduled along with Boys Soccer.
Argyle ISD understands the timing of Monday morning's decision to close schools was not ideal. We apologize for the inconveniences this created for our families and students. The inclement weather and road conditions worsened after 6:30 a.m. in Argyle and surrounding areas. After assessing the road conditions, continued freezing temperatures and potential for afternoon freezing rain, we made the decision to close. Please stay safe and warm and we thank you for your support and understanding.
