High School Advisory & Planning Committee

Argyle ISD has formed a High School Advisory & Planning Committee made up of more than 60 parents, staff and students that will study high school configuration options as they relate to student enrollment growth, district finances,
curriculum & instruction, school facilities, comparative analysis, and extracurricular & co-curricular activities.
Argyle ISD will also provide town hall meetings to allow the committee an opportunity to receive feedback as they work through this process.
The School Board approved the purpose and charge of the committee at the July 18, 2022 School Board meeting.Purpose: The purpose of the High School Advisory & Planning Committee is to represent the Argyle ISD community in the study of student enrollment growth, district finances, curriculum & instruction, school facilities, comparative analysis, and extracurricular & co-curricular participation.
Charge: This committee is charged by the Board of Trustees to:- represent the priorities, expectations, and values of the Argyle ISD
community, - consider the needs of all of the district’s students,
- present facts and data that will assist the Board of Trustees in making
informed decisions, and - present future high school configuration options to the Board of Trustees
for consideration.
