It is my pleasure to serve as the principal of Argyle South Elementary School. This is my fourth year in Argyle ISD and my 22nd year in education. Throughout my career, I have taught students in every grade level from Pre-K Three to the Twelfth grade. After 8 years in the classroom, I transitioned to a high school assistant principal position for three years. Then I entered the world of elementary education where I have served as a principal for 9 years. I will always have the heart of a teacher and love being in classrooms interacting with students.
I have an undergraduate degree in Biology from Incarnate Word University in San Antonio and later obtained my teacher certification from the University of Mississippi. I continued on with my Masters in Education from The University of Southern Mississippi and earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership from William Carey University. I love being a student and a life-long learner.
I live in Bartonville with my husband, Kirk. We have six children and six grandchildren, plus a plethora of barnyard animals and pets!
It is my privilege to serve as principal at South and to work with our amazing staff, students, and families. My goal is to provide a supportive and educationally rich environment where all students and staff can reach their highest potential. I look forward to engaging with our stakeholders in making Argyle South Elementary School a great place to work, learn, and grow!
