Anne Ivy
Hello Argyle Eagles…I am Anne Ivy and this is my 2nd year as a counselor at AHS. My alpha is Dau-Holt and I am very excited and honored to work with all AHS students, staff, and parents.
This is my 17th year as a Texas Educator. I completed my undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University–Wreck ‘Em Tech!! I started my career as an elementary teacher in Plano ISD. I completed my Master’s Degree in counseling at the University of North Texas where I focused on animal assisted and play therapy. I was an elementary counselor at Denton ISD for eight years before moving to high school counseling in 2017. All of my experiences have helped me to better support students, parents and staff.
I am so grateful to be in Argyle and I look forward to partnering with you all. If I can be a support to you or your student, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My number one priority is to help students grow and to develop the skills that they need to successfully navigate life.

Kaitlyn McGuire
Hi Eagles! My name is Kaitlyn McGuire and I am the counselor for students with the last names of Holtman-Mic at Argyle High School.
I attended The University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate, where I studied Microbiology, and then continued on to get my Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling at Angelo State University. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I was a science/AVID teacher and coached volleyball and basketball for five years. I love being able to meet students where they are, help students navigate high school successfully, and prepare for the next stages of their lives.
I am an avid sports fan who enjoys reading and spending time with my family. I have two small children that keep me on my toes and two fur babies.
