Special Education Records Destruction

Argyle ISD retains special education records for five years after cessation of services due to dismissal, withdrawal, or graduation.

Special education records for students who last received services during or before the 2021-2022 school year will be destroyed no later than August 1, 2026.

Adult students or legal guardians may request records prior to destruction by contacting the AISD Special Education Department before August 1, 2026.
