SOAR: Student Option for Academic Readiness

Argyle ISD Online Learning Pathway (Grades 9–12)

Beginning next school year, Argyle ISD will offer a fully online learning option for high school students through SOAR.

SOAR is designed for students who want greater flexibility while remaining enrolled in Argyle ISD. Two pathways will be available:

  • Fully Online Model – 100% virtual coursework
  • Hybrid Model – A blend of online classes and select on-campus opportunities

Eligibility Requirements

SOAR is not open enrollment. Students must meet all of the following:

  • Entering grades 9–12
  • Reside within Argyle ISD attendance boundaries
  • Meet Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements, including enrollment in a public school for at least six weeks during the current or previous school year

Virtual learning requires a high level of independence, time management, and academic readiness. Participation is subject to eligibility review and district approval.
