Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching at the Argyle Independent School District.
Complete an online application, which can be found on this website: Click on Departments/Human Resources/Job Opportunities/Substitute Job Openings. Once you have completed the application, then apply for the Substitute position. (The substitute position opens and closes during various hiring cycles. If you complete your application and find that the substitute position is not “open” at that time, please check back for the job to become available again - then you can apply for the position.)
If you are having difficulty with Teacher Job Network, please call 972-348-1700 for assistance.
All employees, including substitutes, are required to have fingerprints on file with the TX DPS. Instructions for fingerprinting will be emailed to you with your orientation invitation. The cost of fingerprinting is approximately $50 and is the responsibility of the applicant.
We require, as a part of the application, two (2) references. References may NOT be a family member and you MUST provide email addresses for all references.
We will review all applications and then extend an invitation to attend a required orientation to those candidates who qualify. The orientations are by invitation only.
Consideration for employment is at the discretion of the Argyle ISD.
Argyle ISD is an equal opportunity employer.
If you are selected to come to orientation, you will be emailed an HR packet with documents for you to complete.
