Tax Rate
Each year a school district adopts two tax rates - Maintenance and Operation (M&O) and Interest and Sinking (I&S).
The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees initially approved a tax rate of $1.2869 on August 19, 2024, in anticipation of passing a VATRE. However, following an unsuccessful vote, the Board was required to adopt a resolution on November 19, 2024, setting the tax rate at $1.2099.
