Funding Priorities

The proposed School Funding Referendum is designed to benefit Argyle ISD students, teachers, and staff by focusing on three key areas. Teacher and Staff Raises ensure our dedicated employees are fairly compensated and supported. Class Sizes funding will maintain manageable student-to-teacher ratios, promoting effective learning environments. Student Support & Programs investment will strengthen resources and support services, addressing diverse student needs. Together, these priorities work holistically to improve educational quality, support staff, and foster a thriving learning community in Argyle ISD.

Teacher & Staff Raises

Our School Funding Referendum includes provisions for a much-needed 2% pay raise for all teachers and staff. This increase is essential for recognizing the hard work of our dedicated employees and helping Argyle ISD stay competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

Despite state funding challenges, this raise aims to support our staff and ensure they are adequately compensated for their invaluable contributions to our students and community.

Class Sizes

The proposed School Funding Referendum is focused on addressing growing class sizes. By allocating funds to manage and reduce student-to-teacher ratios, we aim to maintain an optimal learning environment. This approach ensures that classrooms remain conducive to effective teaching and individualized student attention, even as our district experiences growth.

Student Support & Programs

In addition to tackling class sizes, the referendum will enhance support services and programs within our schools. This includes funding for additional campus support positions and resources that aid students in various aspects of their education and personal development. By investing in these support structures, we aim to provide a well-rounded educational experience that addresses the diverse needs of our students.
