Conducted by Hankins, Eastup, Deaton, Tonn, Seay & Scarborough, LLC, this audit—required by the State of Texas—takes a close look at how the district manages its finances, uses resources, and whether it’s implementing best practices seen in other Texas school districts.
The purpose of this audit is to ensure Argyle ISD is operating as efficiently as possible before any proposed changes to the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate. While this isn’t a full audit of financial statements or internal controls, it offers key findings on the district's fiscal health and effectiveness. These insights will be critical in guiding decisions on the upcoming VATRE, helping ensure our community’s resources are being used responsibly.
