Every child is an artist!
Hilltop's Art program is choice-based. It is designed to help foster creativity, build self-confidence, and encourage art students to become self-motivated problem solvers.
What do artists do?
Artists look everywhere in the environment for ideas and inspiration. They see how colors, patterns, shapes, and textures interact.
Artists think about what they want to create and how to do it.
Artists choose materials and tools to use.
They consider different kinds of techniques that may include lines, colors, textures, or space.
Artists start to do their art with a plan of action.
