About Me!

Hi! I am excited about a new school year! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.
This is my 16th year teaching in Argyle. I taught 10 years in 4th grade and 5 years in kindergarten. I am excited to teach Science again this year in 5th grade! I love the wonderful support from the parents and the community in Argyle. I graduated from TWU with Early Childhood-4th and I am certified in ESL and EC-6th.
I have a musical son who is starting his student teaching through UNT and studying music education. We adore our two cats, our cocker spaniel, and a hedgehog that are always providing me with great stories to tell my class.
Teaching is a passion for me. I love relating academics to the real world and things around us. We focus on cooperation and creating a safe environment for everyone. I hope to instill and increase the excitement, motivation, and love for learning in each child. I know we will have a great year!
