UIL FILM STATE CHAMPIONS!

The Argyle High School UIL Film Team competed this week at the State Film Competition in Austin. The team took first place and won the state championship in the Documentary Category. Team members include: Lauren Landrum, Campbell Wilmot, Hannah Wood, Andrew Fritz, Brenden Dixon, and Dillon Carter. The team is coached by Ms. Stacy Short. STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to the the Lady Eagle Basketball Team and Coaches on winning the Class 4A State Basketball Championship this past weekend in San Antonio. They defeated Dallas Lincoln in the state semi-finals and then went on to defeat Harden Jefferson in the state championship game. This is the girls FIFTH straight state championship in basketball - a feat that only 2 other teams have accomplished in UIL history in the state of Texas.

WRESTLING STATE CHAMPION!

This past weekend, the Argyle Eagle Wrestling team competed at the state meet. Overall, Argyle placed 9th as a team. Jake Ramsey finished in the top 8, Cullen Davee places 3rd and Heath Roth is the 2019 undefeated state champion. This is Heath’s 2nd State Championship. Congratulations to the team and coaches!

AREA CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team on winning their Area Playoff game against Snyder this past Friday night. They now advance to play Graham on Tuesday night, Feb 26th, in Weatherford. The game time is set for 7:00 p.m. Good luck to our players and coaches.

AHS CHEER - 4TH AT UIL STATE CHEER COMPETITION

The Argyle High School "Spirit" Cheerleading Squad competed at the 2019 UIL State Cheer Competition this past Friday. They won First Place in the "Engage The Crowd" portion of the competition and placed 4th in the state overall out of 84 teams at the event. SENIOR CAP AND GOWN ORDERS

This Wednesday, January 16th, Josten's will be on campus taking orders for graduation caps, gowns, and invitations. Senior graduation packets were handed out this past week with all of the information needed to place an order.
