SENIOR CAP AND GOWN ORDERS

This Wednesday, January 16th, Josten's will be on campus taking orders for graduation caps, gowns, and invitations. Senior graduation packets were handed out this past week with all of the information needed to place an order. It is very important that your child be prepared to order their graduation supplies this Wednesday at lunch. Please contact the high school office if you have any questions.

UIL CONGRESS ADVANCES TO STATE MEET

Congratulations to the AHS Debate Team that competed at the UIL Regional Congressional Debate. Savanna Lessley placed 3rd in the region, advancing her to the state meet. Morgan Stone placed 4th in the region and is alternate to state.

AREA CHAMPIONS!!

Congratulations to the 2018 Argyle High School Volleyball Team. They defeated Snyder in the Area Round of the playoffs. They now advance to the Regional Quarterfinal Round to play Glen Rose at Azle High School on Tuesday, November 6th, at 7:00 p.m.

Argyle High School's "Students of the Month" for October are: Ryan Fornof (junior), Amaris McCasland (freshman), Elizabeth Bedunah (senior), and Jarvis Owens (sophomore). This month's quality was Respectfulness.

GIRLS' CROSS COUNTRY - STATE QUALIFIERS

The girls cross country team competed in Lubbock at the Region I Cross Country Meet. As a team, they placed 5th out of 24 schools. Individually, Lanie Rodgers, Alexandra Johnson, and Amaris McCasland qualified for the State competition to take place on Saturday November 3rd in Round Rock. Lanie placed 9th overall punching a ticket for her third consecutive trip to State, Alexandra placed 10th overall checking off yet another accomplishment on an already well accomplished season, and Amaris McCasland placed 13th.

ALL-AMERICAN GAME SELECTION

Senior Preston Wilson was recently selected to play in the 2019 High School All-American Blue-Gray football game in January of 2019. Preston has also committed to play football for Oklahoma State University next fall. Congratulations to Preston and his family.
