FOOTBALL ADVANCED TO THE STATE QUARTERFINALS

Congratulations to Coach Todd Rodgers, his staff, and his team on beating Waco La Vega 28-14 this past Friday night. The Eagles now advance to the State Quarterfinals where they will play Paris this Saturday night. The game will be at the new stadium in McKinney and will begin at 6:00 p.m. Good Luck Eagles!!

CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE ADVANCES TO STATE

Congratulations to Billy Mykel (1st Place), Joseph Thompson (3rd Place), and Tristan Ball (4th Place) on their performance at the Regional Level of Congressional Debate. BIlly and Joseph will now advance to the state competition in January with Tristan as the alternate. The team is coached by Ms. Jessica Reynolds. Good luck at State!

ATHLETES SIGN NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

AHS is proud of our 5 athletes that signed national letters of intent to continue their athletic careers next year at the college level. Tyler Abrego will be attending Incarnate Word to play baseball, Sydney Standifer will be attending Clemson to play basketball, Caleb Murdock and Regan Ruffner will both be attending Texas A&M for track, and MacKenzie McCormick will attend Furman University to play lacrosse. Congratulations to all of these athletes and their families.
