Special Education Programs Provided
Student admission into all special education programs is handled by a Admission, Review, Dismissal Committee where an Individual Educational Plan is put in place.
Life Skills
Students requiring special education services for all academic areas are served. Adaptive PE is provided as needed. Student integration into classrooms is by Admission, Review, Dismissal Committee where an Individual Educational Plan is put in place.
STEP
Students are taught academic skills and career readiness. Student integration into classrooms is by Admission, Review, Dismissal Committee where an Individual Educational Plan is put in place.
Resource
Students receive instruction in English Language Arts and math in a resource classroom. This setting serves students who are below grade level and needing more support than inclusion provides.
Inclusion
Students receive instruction in the regular grade level classroom with the support of an inclusion aide or teacher in the room.
Content Mastery
Students may leave the classroom setting and receive specialized instruction in a smaller setting. Content Mastery also provides an opportunity for implementation of daily and test accommodations.
