Welcome to Argyle West Elementary!
My name is Marjorie Edge, and along with many of you, I am thrilled to be a new member of the Argyle Eagle community! My family and I just moved to Argyle in June, and I am honored to be the guidance counselor of this beautiful new school.
This is my 23 year as an elementary school counselor. I am coming from Plano ISD where I grew up, raised my children, and had experience there as a second grade teacher and school counselor. My husbands job brought us to Argyle, and we can't be more excited about this new adventure. We have two daughters. Hope is a student at Texas A&M, and Faith will be a new 10th grader at Argyle High School. We also have a new Irish Setter puppy named Remy. Your children may hear a lot about the adventures of our puppy in his new home. Please introduce your families to me. I can't wait to get to know all of you. In my role, it is important for me to get to know all of our students and their families so that I can best serve you. Relationships are a priority in our journey together!
I love this career because I get to work with the entire school community; students, parents, and staff. It allows me to be a counselor and teacher at the same time. Your children will all get to know the counselor because I will see them in guidance classes, small groups and individually as needed. I am passionate about supporting students and helping them to achieve the best possible academic, social and emotional school experience.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
