AMS Shows Support From Head To Toe

AMS staff member, Nancy Wilkinson, has a toddler grandson, Evan, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor and needs surgery to remove it.  At first, the family was told they had to have $50,000 up front to pay for the surgery. After grants and other aid, they need $13,500.  Mrs. Wilkinson's son is a teacher and this is quite a substantial amount of money for their family.

We would like our Argyle family to rally behind Nancy and her family and provide some much-needed support and help in an already difficult situation.  NJHS, StuCo, and Challenge Day Clubs are working together to do a number of different fundraisers to be able to provide the family with some funds before Christmas break.

1. Students--Students will be able to pay $5 during 2nd period, on Fridays (11/30, 12/7, 12/14) to wear pajamas or hats to school.

2. Raffle--Challenge Day Club (with NJHS and StuCo help) will be organizing a raffle for a giant candy bar to be sold during lunch the week of Dec 10-14.  Winner will be announced on Friday, Dec. 14.

There is a GoFund me account that has already been set up for Evan and his family.  Here is the link if you would like to directly donate:
