The Argyle Eagles completed a historic season with a dominating 49-21 victory in the Class 4A Division I state championship vs. Lindale on Dec. 18, 2020 at AT&T Stadium.
Argyle earned its second state championship and finished a perfect 16-0. The Offensive MVP was senior running back Tito Byce and senior safety Zach Stewart was named Defensive MVP.

"We have been looking forward to this class graduating and really challenging the state of Texas," Argyle coach Todd Rodgers said. "They have been awesome. "They were dynamic tonight just like they were dynamic the first game of the year."
It marked the Eagles' first state championship since 2013 and their sixth appearance in the title game. Argyle's dominating run included not trailing an opponent all season.
