Hello Argyle ISD Families and Employees,

We strive every day in Argyle ISD to provide excellence in education while teaching our students to become better individuals and prepare them for successful futures.

Now is the time we must listen and learn. We must listen to the stories of struggle in the face of racism and listen to our students, staff and community and stand alongside them to provide support, love and understanding. We must learn and educate ourselves about injustice and oppression and understand the significance of this moment. This must be more than just words or messages, but about action.

This is an important time for our district to partner with our Eagle families and community to have necessary and important discussions about equality and work to make a difference. We must listen to all challenges with empathy and better understand the responsibility we have to lead and educate our children to stand up against discrimination and hatred.

We are committed to increasing our efforts of celebrating and embracing diversity in our schools and community. We are committed to increasing our focus on providing students and staff with the resources needed to better equip them with a stronger understanding of cultural diversity and respect for the differences of others.

Together we stand with our students, staff and community. Diversity in education offers a unique opportunity for us to create an enhanced sense of community and inclusivity for our students. As Eagles, we have an important role to lead, listen, learn and be examples of what is right.
