Dear Parents and Students:
As you know, we have been in continual discussions with the Southlake Hilton Hotel regarding our 2020 Prom. The AHS Prom was originally scheduled for April 4th. Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, the hotel was unable to accommodate us on that date. We have since rescheduled our prom twice, the latest rescheduled date being June 27, 2020.
Unfortunately, I was contacted last week by representatives from the Southlake Hilton and was told that they would be unable to accommodate us on June 27th. Given the fact that they could not guarantee their ability to accommodate us at any point this summer, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel The 2020 Prom.
Many AHS students had purchased tickets for this event prior to our campus closure. As a parent of a 2019-20 junior, your child will be given 2 options. Option 1 – receive a full refund of the ticket price. Option 2 – use money paid to purchase a ticket(s) for the 2021 Prom. Parents of 2019-20 seniors will receive a full refund of their money. Please use the appropriate link below to inform us of your choice. You may choose only one of the options listed below. If you choose Option 1 (refund), the check will be made payable to the parent or guardian of the student.
