Lunch Drop-Off Procedures and Forgotten Items

To be consistent across all elementary campuses, while we minimize classroom interruptions and protect instructional time, please follow these lunch drop-off procedures:

• All lunches must be dropped off by 9:30 a.m. This is consistent across all elementary campuses.
• Place lunches on the designated cart in the front foyer.
• Clearly label each lunch with your child’s full name and grade. Labels will be available.
• Lunches will be delivered to the cafeteria by 9:45 a.m. Students are responsible for picking up their lunch. We will not interrupt classroom instruction to remind students.
• If you arrive after the 9:30 a.m. drop-off time, we will not be able to deliver the lunch. You are welcome to stay and have lunch with your child after completing our visitor check-in procedures.

Thank you for helping us keep this process simple and minimize disruptions to student learning!
 

Dropping Off Forgotten/Late Items – 9:30 a.m.

We understand that occasionally items are forgotten at home. To minimize interruptions to classroom instruction, all forgotten items must be dropped off in the front office by 9:30 a.m. Items brought after 9:30 a.m. will not be delivered to classrooms.

Cafeteria Visitors

We welcome you to campus to eat lunch with your child. You must check-in at the office and receive a visitor's badge. Students have been working on learning our procedures and expectations in the cafeteria, so parents and guests are now welcome to join us.

We want to make sure you know the procedures to help reinforce those when you are here.

Lunch Visitor Permission Form

This Lunch Visitor Permission Form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian before the visitor enters the building to eat lunch with a student. This process helps us ensure a safe and secure lunch environment for all students. Blanket permission for the school year is not allowed.

This form is only required when a lunch visitor is attending without the student’s parent or legal guardian.

Photo ID Required

You must provide a photo id is required to:

• Sign-out your student from school
• Sign-in as a visitor to Hilltop
• Visitors must wear their visitor tag while in our building

Please make sure to turn in your child's doctor note when attending a medical appointment.

We understand that after school appointments occur. If you are checking your child out early, please make sure it is by 2:00 pm. Please do not park in the front bus lane after 2:15 pm. No early dismissals after 2:20 pm.
