Dear Argyle ISD Families and Staff,

On Monday evening, the Argyle ISD Board of Trustees held its regularly scheduled monthly meeting. The meeting began at 5 p.m. with an executive session, followed by the open portion, which was officially called to order at 6:01 p.m.

This newsletter includes Board Briefs, which summarize key updates and action items from the meeting. Please note that each section includes a direct video link to the corresponding portion of the discussion.

We hope these highlights help you stay connected and informed as a valued member of the Argyle ISD community.

Opening of the Meeting

  • A quorum was established by Board President Leigh Ann Artho.
  • The Opening Prayer was led by Trustee Justin Ford.

Public Comment

No speakers addressed the Board of Trustees during Public Comment. As a reminder, transcripts of all prior public comments and district responses are available on our website. These transcripts are posted as soon as possible following each meeting to support transparency and community engagement.

Consent Agenda

The Board unanimously (6-0) approved multiple items across various departments. The full list of consent items is available on the published agenda. Board meeting minutes approved in the Consent Agenda, and the record of each Trustee’s vote on those items, are posted within seven days after approval. [video link]

Return to Executive Session

At the conclusion of the meeting agenda, the Board of Trustees moved to Executive Session at 6:47 under Texas Government Code 551.074, Personnel Matters and Public Officers.

At 9:49 p.m., the Board reconvened into Open Session to discuss and consider naming an appointment for the vacancy of Place 7 on the Argyle ISD Board of Trustees

The Board took no action.
