Dear Argyle ISD Staff and Community,

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in the School Funding Referendum (VATRE) election.

Thank you to all who took the time to vote and to those who joined us at community meetings, coffee talks, and other gatherings. Your engagement, questions, and feedback mean a great deal to us, and we appreciate everyone who used their voice during this critical decision-making process.

While this measure did not receive enough votes to pass, our commitment to excellence and securing the necessary support for our schools remains strong.

We will continue our legislative advocacy at the state level, working tirelessly to push for increased funding for public schools. In addition, we are elevating our efforts to develop creative and sustainable strategies to retain our exceptional staff. These discussions will soon be underway with our Board of Trustees and Superintendent Teacher Advisory Council as we work together to find effective solutions.

Argyle ISD is a destination district because of our dedicated staff, engaged families, and the high standards our community upholds. Your continued partnership is essential, and we encourage everyone to support our staff in every possible way.

Thank you once again for your commitment to our students and our schools. Together, we will keep moving forward.

Courtney Carpenter, Ed.D.
