January Marks School Board Appreciation Month
Christopher Sayler

January is School Board Appreciation Month in Texas, and Argyle ISD proudly recognizes the service and leadership of its elected seven-member Board of Trustees.

This year’s theme, “Our Future Is Public,” highlights the vital role school boards play in advocating for public education. The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees is deeply committed to supporting strong public schools and ensuring success for all students.

The Board generously volunteers countless hours to serve the district with dedication and integrity. Trustees help set the vision for Argyle ISD, guide important decisions, adopt district policies and budgets, and represent the needs of students, staff, and the community.

Argyle ISD is grateful for the service and leadership of Board President Sam Slaton, Vice President Craig Hawkesworth, Secretary Matt Slaton, and Trustees Leigh Ann Artho, Dr. Leona McDade, Josh Westrom and Rich McDowell.
