Christopher Sayler

Argyle ISD is pleased to announce the appointment of three district leaders.

Lauren Tullos Named Director of Staff, Student & Learner Services

Lauren Tullos has been named Argyle ISD Director of Staff, Student & Learner Services. She currently serves as principal of Jane Ruestmann Elementary and will remain in that role through the end of the 2025–2026 school year to ensure a smooth transition.

Tullos brings more than 15 years of experience in public education, with a background in campus administration, school counseling, and classroom teaching. She has served in campus leadership in Argyle ISD since 2022 and led the opening of Jane Ruestmann Elementary in 2025.

In her new role, she will provide guidance and support to campus principals and serve as the district’s primary point of contact for staff, student, and learner-related matters.

District Names New JRE Principal

Argyle ISD has named Hillary Laird as the next principal of Jane Ruestmann Elementary, following Lauren Tullos’ transition at the end of the school year.

Laird brings more than 20 years of leadership experience at the campus and district levels. She will complete the current school year as assistant principal at Hilltop Elementary before stepping into her new role.

Since joining Argyle ISD in 2018, Laird has made a significant impact across the district, including being named Argyle West Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2021. Prior to her current role at Hilltop, she served as the district’s Gifted and Talented Specialist, where she supported the growth of advanced academic programming.

District Adds New Curriculum Specialist

Leeann Rudolph will join the Learner Services Department as Curriculum Specialist (English/Language Arts & Social Studies). She currently serves as assistant principal at Jane Ruestmann Elementary and will complete the school year before transitioning into her new role.

With more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, dyslexia specialist, and special services coordinator, Rudolph brings a strong background and commitment to supporting both educators and learners.

Rudolph has served in campus leadership since 2023, when she joined Argyle South Elementary as an assistant principal. She will replace Lisa Watson, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
