Argyle ISD continues to plan for the district’s future growth with the purchase of 128 acres in Northlake. The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees approved the land purchase during a special meeting on Oct. 30, 2025.

The property, located on the south side of Robson Ranch Road in the northwest section of the district, was purchased with 2025 Bond funds and will serve as the future site of a secondary campus. The land is situated just northwest of Jane Ruestmann Elementary.

This marks the second property acquired by Argyle ISD to support long-term growth and future school development. The district also owns 50 acres in Furst Ranch, a parcel along the east frontage of U.S. Highway 377, designated for a future elementary and middle school.

Funding for land purchases was included in Proposition A of the 2025 voter-approved bond, which was prioritized by the community-led Bond & Growth Planning Committee.

“We continue to plan strategically to accommodate the rapid growth in our community,” Argyle ISD Superintendent Dr. Courtney Carpenter said. “Purchasing land allows us to prepare for future enrollment growth and continue providing the high-quality learning environments our families expect in Argyle ISD.”
