More exciting news in Argyle ISD!
Argyle ISD held an official groundbreaking ceremony for the new middle school on FM 407 on Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m.
The middle school, which is scheduled to open in August 2026, will serve grades 7th-8th with a capacity of 1,200 students. The current middle school on Hwy 377 will transition to the district's second high school in the 2027-2028 school year.
This was a historic event. It marked the first campus in the town of Argyle since the opening of Hilltop Elementary in 2005. The middle school was part of the voter-approved 2022 bond package.
Earlier this month, AISD held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Argyle ISD Stadium and Indoor Activity Center at AHS in Flower Mound. Both facilities are scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.
All three projects were part of the voter-approved 2022 bond package.
