NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

The construction notice below will affect the following school bus routes:
ES/IS and MS/HS AM/PM Routes 6, 7, 8 & 9
Routes may be adjusted when construction is complete on or about February 10th.

Frenchtown Road – Jeter Road west to US 377 Improvements.     A Notice to Proceed has been issued to allow developer (Williams Gulf Coast) to begin pavement construction on Frenchtown Road from Jeter Road to US 377.  Monday, July 18th, this section of roadway will be changed to ONE-WAY Westbound.  This allows for one half of the 30-foot concrete section to be constructed for the entire length of roadway and still accommodate traffic.  Loaded water haulers from the Jeter Road Station will have a route to US 377.  Empty water haulers and all other traffic will use FM 407 to Gibbons and the eastern section of Frenchtown Road to Jeter.  The contractor has indicated that complete construction of the new concrete roadway will take 149 days.  The developer and contractor was responsible for notifying affected residents and governmental entities.

Please note that during construction, we will maintain local traffic along Frenchtown Road however, we will restrict traffic to WESTBOUND ONLY for the duration of the construction project.

We anticipate construction to begin on or about July 18, 2011.

If you have any questions about access, security, safety or any other issue, please call:

Whitehead Pad Site

As you may have noticed, we have had minimal activity at the Whitehead pad site after completion of fracing  our first two wells.  Here is an estimate of the upcoming operations:

  • Frac tanks and sand storage units will be moved in over the next few days outside of the 7-8:30 a.m and 2:30-4:30 p.m. school time intervals.  We have flaggers at the location entrance to help with those few loads (the truck traffic during frac week and subsequent flowback will require significant help from Argyle PD and peers from other departments—we want to concentrate our resources during that time period).
  • Most of the equipment will start arriving on Thursday 5/19.  In addition, we will begin hauling sand that morning to fill the storage bins on location.  24-hr traffic control support has been coordinated with Chief Tackett starting Thursday morning.
  • Actual frac operations are scheduled to start 5/20.  Based on the job designs, we anticipate 7 days to complete frac operations, then will shift to flowback (mostly water hauling) and well cleanout (coil tubing/snubbing unit operations).

There is no doubt everyone will see the activity level over the next few weeks.  Our first priority is safety, which is why we have focused on coordinating the truck traffic to minimize the impact outside of the location.  If there are any concerns, John Rodgers or I will be in communication with Chief Tackett throughout the operations.

Should anyone have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the following Hillwood representatives:
