PebbleGo  is a great way to find out all kinds of information about Animals, Dinosaurs, Biographies, Social Studies, and Science.  This is a wonderful database for teachers and students to use for research purposes, and is very kid-friendly.  Kids can view pictures, videos, and short easy-to-read articles about many types of animals, as well as hear the text being read aloud to assist students with comprehension.  Students may also learn how to properly give credit to their sources in creating a Bibliography by clicking on the pencil & paper icon that says "Cite" at the bottom of the article.  *To access PebbleGo from home, please see the Mrs. Riley or Mrs. Austin for the User Name and Password.

Kids Infobits offers a ton of information on different subjects such as animals, music & movies, famous people, plants, sports, and technology.  Students may hear the text read aloud, see full-color photographs, download and print articles, as well as properly cite the sources. This awesome site gives kids access to videos featuring Annie and Moby, who explain different types of concepts in an easy-to-understand way.  Each clip is just a few minutes long, and there are even quizzes that teachers can give students individually or as a class to check for understanding.
