Argyle won the TMSCA State Meet in San Antonio over Spring Break. This is the 15th year in a row that Argyle has taken home the championship trophy! Congratulations to all the students and teachers who participated!

Justin Clark Earns Top Gun Award!

AHS Senior Justin Clark made a name for himself at the TMSCA State Competition in San Antonio over the weekend. He placed 1st in Number Sense (meet high score 2A - 6A), 1st Calculator (meet high score 2A - 6A), 1st Mathematics, 4th science, High Physics (medal) and placed 1st Top Gun receiving a $1100 scholarship. Lady Eagles Basketball are State Champs!

The Argyle Lady Eagles Basketball Team defeated Liberty Hill last Saturday with a score of 40-30 to earn their third consecutive State Championship! The Tournament MVP was Vivian Gray and Vivian and Gabby Standifer were named to the All-Tournament Team. Congratulations Lady Eagles!

Argyle Documentary Takes 2nd Place at UIL

Argyle High School had two films that qualified for the UIL Young Film Makers State Competition! The Hardest Mile by Annabel Thorpe, Lauren Landrum, and Caleb Miles earned 2nd Place for Division I Documentary. Secrets of the Sepulcher by Lauren Oellerman and Jenna Martin placed 6th in Traditional Animation. Congratulations to all students and Ms. Short their sponsor! Please see The Hardest Mile below.

The cast and crew of 33 Variations will advance to the bi-district competition on March 25th. Maddison Darnell received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast. Alex Peters and Reign Bach received All-Star Cast and Lauryn Casey received All-Star Technician. Congrats to the cast and crew on a beautiful show!

Argyle Wrestler Heath Roth Wins State!

Freshman, Heath Roth won the 4A State Championship at 120 lbs in Wrestling this weekend! Heath won a very exciting title match 3-2 to earn the victory. Heath went an astounding 61-0 on the season. Congratulations to Heath and to Coach Morse!
