Argyle ISD Enrollment Information
As a public school system, the Argyle schools welcomes all students who live within the boundaries of the Argyle Independent School District and meet state age and health requirements. Students may enroll at any point during the school year. Enrollment for new students moving into the community during the summer is scheduled prior to the beginning of the new school year. Specific enrollment dates are published on the district activity calendar on the district website.
The natural parent, legal guardian or other person having legal control under a court order must enroll a student. The person enrolling the student must present their driver’s license or Department of Transportation identification card at the time of registration. A student 18 or more years of age living independently must present evidence of age and complete the necessary form prior to enrolling at the school.
A family that has not yet moved into the school district but is building or purchasing a home within the district boundaries is eligible to enroll provided a copy of the building permit or contract is furnished. Students enrolling under these circumstances must pay tuition for the days that they are living outside the district.
